Pathway K5 Field Day was truly one for the books! It would not have been possible without the incredible support of so many people in our community. On behalf of our entire school we extend our deepest gratitude to our sponsors, special guests, volunteers, parents, teachers, staff, and administration. Let's congratulate our April Spotlight Winners! 🎉

The Mobile Museum of Art will be hosting an Autism art show in honor of autism awareness month. Students from our Autism and Behavioral Learning Extension (ABLE) Unit will have their textured ice cream cones on display for the entire month of April. The museum has free entry every Thursday. We were excited to welcome special visitors from the Exploreum Science Center 🚀 Each student learned how to program tiny robots 🤖 They also explored coding with larger robots ⚙️It was a great opportunity for students to dive into the world of engineering and technology! 💡💻 Thank you to our amazing guests for inspiring the next generation of innovators! 🌟 #LeadingLearning #MCPSS

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. It is a time to raise awareness and celebrate the strengths and contributions of individuals with developmental disabilities. At our school we are proud to support and celebrate the unique abilities of every student. Together we can promote understanding, inclusion, and acceptance in our community🌟

Happy National Social Worker Week! 🎉🥳 We want to give a big thank you to our social worker Dr. Nyshetia White for the incredible care, support, and guidance she provides to our students. We are so grateful to have her as part of our school family! 💙📚✨

ACAP state testing has begun! 📝It will take place from March 2nd through April 24th. Ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep before testing days and arrives at school on time so they feel rested, prepared, and ready to do their best!

CALLING ALL PATHWAY PANTHER PARENTS‼️🚨👀✨ It's almost that time of year again. Our Annual Field Day is right around the corner! 🥳🎉🐾 Parents, we’d love for you to join the fun. You are invited to attend Field Day and are encouraged to purchase a Pathway T-shirt for yourself and your student in support of the event. T-shirt order forms will go out this week. They are due March 20, 2026.

We are also accepting donations to help make the day extra special for our students! Please see the attached form for more information.

Coach Harper and our students are participating in the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge! Students are learning how to keep their heart, body, and brain healthy while collecting donations to help children with heart conditions 💪❤️ Students earn prizes for each donation milestone they meet. We’re so proud of our heart heroes! There is still time to join the cause. Students will continue this challenged for the next 10 days.
